It means abandoning Solaris 9. Since it is still popular, you have to support it and BMC does not want to fork into two separate releases from what I assume. I deal with the same issue with an OpenSource product.

I recant !! as the OS 10 is definately better..
But with ARS 7.01 it might have issues..
I am not running ARS 7.01 on 10 yet.. it is still on 9.
