I just received the below email yesterday from newatlanta.com about hot fixes for August. I haven't really looked at the details of what is fixed but maybe worth looking into.
Greetings !
The following ServletExec hotfix is now available:
August 2006 hotfix for ServletExec 5.0
Hotfixes are cumulative, so they contain all the fixes found in their
previous hotfix counterparts.
Some components were updated to fix bugs, while others were left as
they were in the previous hotfix.
For more details about these bugs, please view the ReleaseNotes for
your specific hotfix online at the New Atlanta website.
You may obtain hotfixes (& ReleaseNotes) for your configuration of SE at:
http://www.newatlanta.com/c/products/servletexec/download/hotfix/showHotfixes
You may also find SE FAQ #195 to be of use:
http://www.newatlanta.com/c/products/servletexec/self_help/faq/detail?faqId=195
For ServletExec users who are currently using the previous hotfix for 5.0:
- Those using ServletExec 5.0 with ESRI's ArcIMS product should apply this hotfix.
- Only those SE users who are experiencing the bugs listed in the hotfix ReleaseNotes are likely to need that hotfix.

Have a very strange problem. We are running mid-tier 7.0 against our 5.1.2 server. This setup has been working no problems now for the first two months. Then as of about a week ago we start seeing problems where mid-tier would go down. With Remedy's help, we pinpointed that our problem was due to the config.properties file in our C:\Program Files\AR System\Mid-Tier 7.0\WEB-INF\classes directory somehow getting blanked out to 0 kb. Tried searching here, google, and Remedy's knowledge base to no avail. Has anyone ever seen this problem? This is just bizarre. If anyone could help that would much appreciated.
The changes we know of to the webserver recently has been SSL certificates. Not sure if that would play a part.
