I created a filter that fires on Get Entry. The Run If was $CLIENT-TYPE$ = 6 and $USER$ != "myusername" and I had a error message If Action. This gave me (logged in as a different user) an error in MS Access and Crystal Reports. I really liked this method because it didn't limit myself as the admin, CRD or the people who have a legitimate need to connect via ODBC.

Why do you want to do this? ODBC is required for Crystal to access the Remedy database. Is there a performance issue that needs to be addressed instead?
And, yes, I would like to know this too. It may involve shutting down the entire interface through the ar.cfg(ar.conf) file.

Subject: Question: Disable ODBCI was wondring if someone could tell me what I can add to the AR.CFG file to disable users from using ODBC to connect to the server to run Crystal reports?
THANKS!
