Depending on the ARS version you can push thousands of DSO actions per hour. It is possible with 5.1.2 and up to assign DSO a private RPC port and have DSO run through it.
Never heard of 'Golden Gate'.

I have a customer who is fearing about the DSO performances: he never saw it yet but someone told him some things like this...a competitor surely...
The target is to make different ticketing servers repilcating submit, changes and deletions in a "follow the sun mode" all around the world (about 4 or 5 servers in different continents).
Does someone of you know one or more similar examples of implementations that are running fine in a "follow the sun" mode?
I would appreciate that.
I beleive DSO is the best solution for him but I need to convince him.
He asked me also about a product called "Golden Gate"...?!
Does someone have an experience with this tool?
