Sure, you can do that - but from a useability standpoint, why would you?
Then you have multiple variations of the same company, which in turn, takes
away consistency (and would skew any potential reporting you may want to
perform).

The Product Name/Manufacturer combination needs to be unique. You can
have the same product name for 2 different manufactures though.
For example, below are 2 valid entries
T1 = Hardware
T2 = Server
T3 = Windows
Product = Proliant
Mfg = Dell Computer Corp.
Ex: Computer System Class
T1 = Hardware
T2 = Personal Computer
T3 = Desktop
Product = Proliant
Mfg = Dell Computer Corporation
