definitely recommend a Core 2 Duo machine like the Dell Latitude D620 or
one of their mobile workstations M65/90.
Running virtual machines will introduce quite a bit of overhead, so the
more memory, the better. Someone also mentioned that MS Virtual PC does not
emulate dual processors. Not sure about VMware.
