Hi,

Strange thing. I just installed ARS7.0.1, MSSQL2005 and Unicode support
on W2003EE sp1. Server information/Configuration shows me that I have
"RUS,UTF8", but ar.cfg contains "Db-Character-Set: UTF-16" string.

Can somebody explain this?

Kind regards,
Alexander Zinoviev

Subject: Re: Is really Unicode Supported in ARS 6.3?

In the install and config docs, UTF-16 is only used by Microsoft SQL
Server, so we have it configured as UTF-8.

This is a big problem because if this is really the way it works, I will

need to reinstall again as non-unicode.

My thought is the same... Unicode is supported (but just a little...)

Any comments about this?

Thanks
