James, There IS a 64 bit version of MS SQL 2000; it was released in 2003. This was a big thing for Microsoft because there was a race with oracle to be the first to support IA64. http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/sql/2000/technologies/SQL64bit.mspx
MS SQL Server 2003 does not exist. My gut feeling is that the installation of AR 5.x or 6.x will perfectly work on SQL server 2000/ia64. -- Michiel On 11/14/06, McKenzie, James J C-E LCMC HQISEC/L3 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
** Don: I don't think there is a 64 bit version of MS SQL 2000. You may have to look at MS SQL 2003 or MS SQL 2005 to get this ability. Can anyone confirm successful installs of ARS 6.3.0 and MSSQL 2000 under MS Windows Server 2003 64-bit? Any issues? I see that Remedy has officially tested ARS 7.x, but we're not there…yet.
