There are some great Remedy partners in the Southeast.
You could get a position within their Support organization and build your
skillset to a level where they could send you out on customer projects. If you
have your stuff together, partners can always bill more for you, and hence your
advancement and reputation begins.

You could also post to this list to help others
whenever you can. Referrals are a big part of this business, and the main
members of this list can be pretty influential. It also helps when you interview
for jobs in front of people who even moderately read the postings from this list
because name recognition can help a lot.

Subject: Re: looking for a job
My advice would be to try to get on a project as a jr. developer on a team
with some senior people. Then learn more from them, and prove yourself to
your project leaders. When you're leading those teams, you'll be able to
qualify for those jobs.
Of course, as in demand as developers are, you may find some willing to
relax their stated standards a bit, though you may have to prove yourself
qualified in some other way.

**Hi all,I have about a year and half experience as ARS administrator and developer( 5.1.2 and 6.3). I am located in Atlanta GA and I am currently looking for a job. However, all the jobs posted require 4, 5 or more years of experience. Does anybody has any advice or tips that will help me get a job with the experience I have? I appreciate your help.Thanks.
