I still have my first User's Guide - Action Request System 1.2 for Windows, dated 1994. I do not travel with it though, so I can not tell you exactly at this moment. I got it from a customer, as I started working with version 1.3 myself. The limitations in the old days was the Admin-tool and Server. When doing an Admin class (I was certified for version the 2.1 admin class), you did not want to have two machines for each student, so you got a Unix-Workstation that could run everything. You allways got problems with your back after a class, after carrying those 35-kilo Sun Monitors... My first User-class was on version 2.0, and the students had Windows PCs that connected to the "small" Solaris-box I had brought with me.
