Katherine, Here is what you need to do, 1)Open by SHR:Assignments form 2)On SHR:Assignment form, choose assignee type = "group with skills" and give the login ID of the person whom you wanna make invisible 3)Search result, will give the list of group to which the user has memerbship4)For the particular group to which the user belongs to, put the status to be "On vacation" and this would hide his name from the drop down. Hope this works:) Thanks Anoop

Then that person will be able to reassign tickets across groups. That you can do by going into the user form and adding that particular user to App : Management group. This should work. Please note that i am giving this suggestion with the assumption that you are taking abt the Rememdy helpdesk application. Give it a try. I have a user who wants to be added toa group but does not want to show up in the group drop down list. I did this for another person and all I did was add their name in theConfigure People in Groups within the Remedy Application Configuration.I have added others to groups and they show up. What on earth did Ido to enable this user to not be seen in the drop down. We areactually doing this because these 2 groups want to assign and reassigntickets back and forth to each other. Currently no one can assigntickets to others outside their group. The standard Remedy setup. But....the group leader wants to be able to send tickets back and forthwith this other group without having to ask the help desk to reassign. We do not have queue managers. So I figured, just put everyone in each others groups but make them invisible in each others group drop down.I did this for the one person and I cant figure it out how to do itagain. Or even this is a good idea. I dont want to create an entirenew group and we dont want this other group to have access to the restof our tickets.KatherineRemedy System Administrator_______________________________________________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org ARSlist:"Where the Answers Are"-- Take a break...
