Jason;
Here is a method that may work for you, but you need to be careful it
can be a drain on system resources.

Turn on Server Statistics and set the time for 60 seconds. This will
make "a lot" of records in the Server Statistics form, you can make
workflow to delete old records after 5 days or something like that.

Now you have a form to check on login using the init-form option in
the ar.conf file. You have workflow that fires on the init form that
queries the Server Statistics form for the latest entry. Then get the
value in the "Floating Write Lic Connections" field and compare it to
how many Floating Licenses you have on your system. This will tell you
how many you have left.

This method is not real time; you have that gap of at least 1 minute
before the server does its next check, but it is close.

Hello Listers,

Is it possible to display the following alert message when an user is
logging in?

"There is no available remedy floating license right now, please try
again later."

Has anyone done anything similar?

TIA,
