Tarun, In order to run a filter the form has to be updated. You could however, create a filter guide and filter that runs before any other filter. This new filter would call the new filter guide, which would call only those filters you want to run, then issue a GoTo 1000 to skip over the remaining filters.

Why not just create a hidden field on the form the escalation is running against. Say Z_DO_ESCALATION. Then have the escalation modify this field and add modification of this field to the qualifier of the filters you wish to fire? Think of it as an execution flag for the filter that gets set by the escalation.
