Claire,

Make sure your ARNotification does not have any page holders in it.
If it does, then that view is ignored for the purpose your trying to
get out of it.

(As I quoted in this thread before...)

v5.1.2 "Dev_AR_Apps_Basic_English.pdf" pg 498 says this:

"
The order of fields included in an email notification is strictly
based upon their arrangement in the form view. Using their X and Y
coordinates, the order of fields begins top left to right, then down
(in a zigzag-like pattern). Fields excluded from the form's default
view are randomly included at the bottom of the list. If a form
includes page fields, the pages are ignored. The order of fields
included in the notification is still based on their actual X and Y
coordinates in the form.

To guarantee the order of fields in a notification, you can create a
special view named ARNotification. Make sure that you exclude any page
fields from this view, which uses the zig-zag pattern described above
for field order in notifications. Otherwise, notifications will
default to the default view. If there is no default view, the first
view listed is used.
"

How is this for digging back into the Archives...

How do I include the worklog in this? It does not do the date
conversion and it also doesn't include line breaks.

I am using Michelle's recommendation of putting the fields in the Text
section. I had created an ARNotification view and it still didn't put
the fields in the order I had them on the view.

I'm not quite understanding the template stuff just yet and just need to
be able to put something quick and easy in the notifications (but that
makes sense to my users) for the time being.

Old Notification Method:

Work Log :

is at Home Health

New Notification Method:

Work Log : 1165949235brgilmorOn RD30 Setup with ID Type of
