I am running approval 7.0.01 with Change Mgmt 5.6.

Some caveats:
- approval notifications with qualifications defined will have the
qualifications stripped from the filters during the upgrade process. Simply
modify the records in AP:Notification to have the filters recreated to
include the qualifications
- there are a couple of new fields on the ap:detail and ap:signature forms.
These will need to be added to the downstream joins
(CHG:ChangeJoinAPDetialSig and CHG:ChangeJoinAPDetail). Without these new
fields, the notifications will not fire at all. I believe the name of the
key field is Approval Process Instance ID (or something like that)

Aside from these minor things, everything seems to work as it had in the
past.

There are also some new forms that were added in v7, like AP:Preview
Signatures and others. I am not using these yet as I have not had a chance
to review how they work.

Is anyone running this pair of apps/versions? I'm working on the ARS
7.xupgrade but my ITSM apps will remain at
5.5 (or 5.6) for a while. My approval process is fairly customized and I
am attempting to come up with the best approach on the installation of the
new (7.0) approval server without overwriting customizations on core
approval forms such as AP:Detail, AP:Signature, CHG:ApprovalID, etc. If
anyone has gone down this exact path your input would be greatly
appreciated! Did you choose *not to* "Load AR System Approval Server
forms into the AR System?" during the 7.0 Approval Server installation?
If so, were you able to get the new approval server to function using the
old aforementioned forms? Etc.

Thanks in advance!
