So in building out one of our new servers, I installed SLM 7.0.2 and didn't include the collector component. This was available as a standalone install in previous 7.x versions. In contacting support for assistance:
Currently it is not possible to install the Collector component after the initial install of SLM. If the Collector isn't installed at the time you install SLM, it's not possible to go back at a later time and install the Collector. If you need to have this functionality, then you'd need to roll back to before installing SLM, and the reinstall SLM, this time enabling the Collector installation component. So be warned.... make sure that you install the collector component during the initial setup if you need it. If it's not one thing it's another *sigh* -tony P.S. Anyone have a workaround?
