Do you run Non-Root? Since this is owned by root it can't be stopped by a
non-root user.
I believe this is the service /application process dispatcher.

Subject: Process not stopping - Linux

**
Hi All,

I have notice whenever I stop the AR Server (7.6.04) that the following process
continues to run. Server is Linux Redhat 5.

root 19622 1 0 Nov16 ? 00:00:14 ./arsvcdsp -s ars-as-s2 -d
/opt/bmc/ARSystem

Can anyone tell me, what that process is and if I can kill it?

Thanks
Mark
