I’ve done this on a couple of occasions, using Misi’s RRRchive utility, which of course does everything on the API/Application level, and therefore takes more time. https://rrr.se/cgi/index?pg=chive <https://rrr.se/cgi/index?pg=chive>
I have not used it on 650GB, but at least on 150++. The beauty, in my opinion, is that you can run the tool over and over again, to do delta data migrations, So, say that your initial transfer will take 2 days, then the subsequent runs will take hours, minutes or seconds, potentially minimising you downtime at the time of the actual upgrade/migration. Good luck in you migration! /Jan > On 5 Mar 2018, at 16:53, Vinod Gaidhani <vinod.gaidh...@gmail.com> wrote: > > Hi Team, > > We are planning to migrate from Microsoft to Linux [8.1 to 9.1] and as part > of this, we will have to move to Oracle as well.
