Ok....I am now running

ARS 6.3 Patch 19
SQL Server 2000 SP4
Windows 2003 (Latest Patches)

I am still getting this error but I was able to track it down today. It
appears that there is an escalation firing on a remedy form that does a
setfield from a view form. That view form is a view pointing to a linked
server. That linked server is using an Oracle OLE connection that doesn't
exist on this box (dev gets dumped from prod periodically)...thus...Remedy
can't use it's view form...and is causing this error every 30 seconds until
the remedy server is restarted.

Hi,

You can go through the following URL
http://blogs.msdn.com/sql_protocols/archive/2005/12/19/505372.aspx

If I am not wrong then this has been fixed with SQL service pack 3.

Best Regards,
Mahesh

For awhile we have been receiving this error on our dev system...when it
occurs it happens every 30 seconds...a bounce of the arsystem service brings
dev back to functionality...remedy resides on separate box from db...any
suggestions?
