Multiple forms & pages cause many issues with this. (can not APP-EXIT!)

Normally we only see this, with our users with notebooks that walk
around the building, thus changing IP Addresses.

IP Address change is what causes the "logged in from another location"
message.

I assume you do not have multiple people utilizing the same account, so
the IP address must change...

** Adding the ALink to execute a exit action action on window close is
not the solution. This will only work if your Web application has only
one form.

Have either of you opened a ticket with BMC on this issue?

Perhaps I am misunderstanding this. We are having this same problem. Our
user logs are loaded with this error. The problem with the solution
below is it closes the window you are using. If I have a user who uses
the Support Console and opens one of their Help Desk tickets to update
it then their browser of fat client will close when they switch from the
Remedy Support Console to the Help Desk. I have this action in an AL and

executing on Window Close. Is that correct? I really need a solution for
this problem.

Hi All,

David Easter - [EMAIL PROTECTED] suggested a very good solution.

To avoid 9093 every form should have on close event:

PERFORM-ACTION-EXIT-APP

In this way when a user closes a BROWSER window the licese is freed on
the ARS server.

Subject: Error 9350

Network protocol/data error when performing data operation. (9350)

Getting this after a 9093: User is currently logged in ...

This is thrown up in the MidTier (Version 6.03.00 patch 015) on
Solaris\Sybase ARS(6.03.00 patch 20)

You get the 9093 first and then the 9350 regardless of how you answer
the 9093.

I saw some discussion on this but wasn't clear if there was an actual
solution.
