Hi,
My rrrChive utility has the ability to temporarily turn off
delete-filters. This, of course, would temporarily turn off the
delete-filters for the regular users.
If you run your archiving at night, this may not be a problem.
It is not hard to write a C-/Java-API that will turn on/off the
delete-trigger on your filters.
This rrrChive-config would archive records and disable the delete-filter:
source_server = arprod
source_user = Demo
source_password =
source_form = Helpdesk
source_disabledeletefltr = YES
target_server = arprod
target_form = Helpdesk History
qual = '7'="Closed" AND '3'<$TIMESTAMP$-3*30*24*60*60
transfertype = MOVE
logfile = rrrchive.log
loglevel = INFO
