Claire, We did this for Cingular. We are using Telalert as the vehicle that sends out the page to our Alpha Pagers, but you can configure it to also send out to a SMTP Server. When we first got it setup, we saw that the Disclaimer attached to all of our external email, caused the message to become 4 different messages. No one would want to be billed for the Disclaimer. We had our Exchange guys setup another Exchange Server that would send out and bypasses the system that attaches the Disclaimer. So now it is just the one message.
This may not work for you, but I thought I would throw it out there for everyone. As far as the email workflow, have you tried leaving all of the fields blank except for the Text? Hope that helps Ron Smith Web/Remedy System Developer Providence Health System [EMAIL PROTECTED] 503-216-7866 -----Original Message----- From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Sanford, Claire Sent: Thursday, February 01, 2007 8:48 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Remedy Email "Paging" to a Cell Phone One of our directors would like to get rid of his pager. He would like Remedy to send his "pages" to his cell phone. I can have it send an email to his cell phone, but it sends all of the "stuff" such as email headers to the phone. We just want the standard "HD000000000000000 bas been escalated" message to go out. I am sure someone out there knows how to do this. I've looked through my archives and can't find anything. Help me please, pretty please!
