If its for specific business reasons, then you may have to change it.

A few years back, I had to change the status values on our change management
application - they had been setup incorrectly in the first place (sequence
didn't match the actual process flow, which made reporting awkward), and the
business requirements had changed way beyond what had been original
required. Thankfully it was only change lite, and there was very little
workflow to be changed.

I just wish I'd known about rrrSelectionChange and ARInside prior to making
the changes though, it was an incredibly irritating change to make,
especially as I had to do it at home, late on an evening ...

Dave

I have a few "important" users who are suggesting that my organization
should change our status values. Does anyone know of some compelling
documentation that say why not to do this? I have many reasons of my
own such as the workflow, records, and updating issues this would cause,
but I was looking for something "official" if it exists.

Thanks
