I'm not sure where this document lives externally, but here's the snippet from the document that defines the restriction.
User License Restriction As of AR System 6.0, a user will not be able to connect to a server from multiple IP addresses. The user license restriction will affect three AR System User license types: AR User Read, Fixed, and Floating. A User will still be allowed to run multiple User tools from the same machine or IP address. If a user should attempt to log into an AR Server from a second IP Address with an AR User Fixed, Floating, or Read license, they will be given the option to disconnect from the previously running session(s). WHAT'S NEW AR System(r) 6.0 License Key Management There are two exceptions to the user license restriction. ■ First, any user that is in the Administrators Group can always access AR System. They can log into the AR Server with the same User name from multiple IP Addresses. ■ Second, a new license type has been created, the new Restricted Read license. Any user that is assigned a Restricted Read User license will be allowed to log in simultaneously from multiple machines, with the limitations listed below. It's found in a "What's New" for 6.0 document. -David J.
