Yeah...what he said. The level of professionalism I see in the patch process is probably more indicative of poor process than anything else, but it is not acceptable from a company that considers itself one of the industry leaders in teaching good process and best practices to others. Does someone at BMC download each newly uploaded update and install it per the documentation provided to assure quality before you release it to customers? Thanks for keeping us informed as the update is uploaded, but the need for you to do so seems to me to be artificially induced by a poorly designed and loosely validated process.
