Solaris stores the time/date as the number of seconds since midnight on January 1st, 1970 (the "epoch"), or 01/01/1970 00:00:00, and that's what Remedy uses to calculate dates and times. For example, we're seeing some problems in our employee table when an employee's hire date is prior to the epoch, so that date filed is considered an invalid value. Dates after the start of 1/1/1970 are okay.
