John,

Your best bet is to write a small API program that will query the form
and "update" each row so that filters on the View form can be
triggered. ( Which might assume that ARS has write access to the
table.) However, your API program could also do more work too. It all
depends on where you want the bulk of the logic for the process to
live. [ In the API client program or in the ARS server workflow. ]

An alternate approach would be to use the command line data
export/import utilities. You could "backup" the data from the View
form and "Import" the data to a display only form that is a mirror of
the View form (Field ID/data types, etc) that has the "Push" logic on
"Merge".

I'm told that you can only setup Oracle to feed into 6.3 to a view form and
that ARS doesn't see the feed as New, Submit or Modify. We currently have
Oracle feeding employee information into our 6.3 to a view form and then an
escalation runs and pushes this information to a regular form to be
processed. This has been working great but we have added another push to
feed SMS asset and software into 6.3 also by a view form and another
escalation. During the SMS load the escalation took over four days to run
in which no other escalation ran. I'm looking for another way to get the
information in with out using an escalation.
