Currently, on our incident form, Analysts have the ability to search for common solutions for routine calls. When they click the 'Search Solution Sets' button, an open window action occurs that opens a dialog with all solution sets matching the criteria they entered. In the open window action > field mappings > mode: on close, we map the necessary fields, and then do a commit changes action when they select 'Use Solution Set.' Unfortunately, whatever text is in the solution set (for example, the 'problem description' field) replaces what was previously in that field on the incident form. My functional would like me to append the value in the solution set, to whatever was in that field on the parent form. The logic seems to be escaping me. Any assist would be appreciated. Michael A.
