If the Issue Instance ID is the Request ID, ie, Field ID 1, then just
use this
http://<server>/arsys/servlet/ViewFormServlet?form=SPRT%3AW_Issue&server
=<server>&eid=$Issue Instance ID$
to test it use
http://<server>/arsys/servlet/ViewFormServlet?form=SPRT%3AW_Issue&server
=<server>&eid=ISS00001800
<http://<server>/arsys/servlet/ViewFormServlet?form=SPRT%3AW_Issue&serve
r=<server>&eid=$Issue>

Subject: URL format question
** Hi everyone-
Our customers would like to get a link in an email when they
open a ticket so they can simply click on it to open it on the mid tier.
Due to security concerns, my company won't let me auto log them in by
placing the user name and password in the URL, but as long as they click
the link, get directed to the login page, then end up where they wanted
to go everything is fine.
I'm trying to create the URL to open the form SPRT:W_Issue by
using the qualification of the ticket number matching the field 'Issue
Instance ID'. In the example 'Issue Instance ID' = ISS00001800, what
have I done incorrectly in the URL?
http://<server>/arsys/servlet/ViewFormServlet?form=SPRT%3AW_Issue&server
=<server>&qual=%27Issue%20Instance%20ID%27%3D%22ISS00001800%22
Version 6.3, Unix server
Thanks,
Chris Moore
