Morning All,

Just to add a testimonial to Misi's statement below - We use rrrlic in a
server group environment (6.3 p21, Sybase 12.5.3, Solaris 5.9) with a
balancer in front and it does exactly as advertised. I am fully aware
of my license allocation and who to move what license to each time I
make a report.

Hi,

The user log files I have seen on Server Group systems has been hard to
make use of.

Because of this we had to create a RRR|LicenseMonitor, that polls
statistics from all active servers through the API, and produce
something similar to the ordinary user log file.

What RRR|License does in addition to License Monitoring, is that it will
determine the best mix of FIXED/FLOATING licenses on your system, as
well as finding the users that has been assigned the "wrong" license
type.

The demo-version will let you see how good your current allocation and
mix are, compared to the optimum.

If you have a Server Group system, and want to check your system,
contact me by email to get a copy of RRR|LicenseMonitor. If not, you can
get immediate access to RRR|License at http://www.rrr.se (under the
Online button).

Best Regards - Misi, RRR AB, http://www.rrr.se
