All, BMC support checked the install with me using webex and recommended several things. The last recommendation was the one which worked, although I did not believe it will do a lot. They asked me to burn a copy of the installation files on a CD and install from the CD.
I did not have access to a CD at the time therefore we created an ISO image and mounted it...and it worked!!! There is a similar issue mentioned in the release notes however the workaround mentioned doesn't work. They also recommended installing SLM 7.0.3, however I didn't do that.... Another defect that was found is that the .html file was empty...it is resolved in 7.0.3 again... I asked that they try and never use Install shield on solaris again, and instead use the good ol' CLI :) Thanks for everyone who helped....
