Remedy Approved Consultant is only available if you work for a partner.
Remedy Skilled Professional is for "free" consultants or end customers.
I have only gone through one of the above set of courses (RAC), but I
think they have much in common.
There are some required courses you have to attend before you start the
above classes.
The API-class has probably changed a lot since I attended it in 1995, but
I think that it is not really needed if you have enough general
programming experience, as well as Remedy experience.
The 6.x transition class was a good opportunity to try out, and
concentrate on, the many changes between 5.x and 6.x. The changes in
version 7.x is not that that many.
