Good information as always, Doug. I was approaching this situation under the assumption that setting the value of the submitter field to something other than $USER$ was off-limits. I know, of course, that from a technical perspective it CAN be done...I was operating under the assumption that the organization considering the support firm's proposed solution would not WANT that done.
