Make sure you give this field Permissions for Submitter (write) and Public and allow any user to submit selected. Then find the active links that perform the push to create a real Help Desk case - they are: RR:RNR-Save06 and RR:RNR-Save06web. I recommend disabling these since they are OOB from Remedy and setting up new copies of each with your own unique company designation. On these copies of the active links you are going to want to include the new field reference on the push fields action IF that field is going to also be on the Help Desk form, meaning you have to add this new field on that form also. If this new field is a hidden field, then you should also take into account getting it set with the RR:RNR-GetInfoFromTemplate series of Active Links. Anyway, that should help get you started. What I usually do is start workflow logging on a ticket - capture AL's then Filters to see what objects are performing the actions. That helps me figure out what objects I need to copy, update, etc.. Hope this helps. :) Candace ________________________________ From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Greg Donalson Sent: Wednesday, August 15, 2007 11:20 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Requester Console - Extra field to be passed ** I have a requirement to add a field to the Requester Console, which on create will then be pushed along with the rest of the fields to create an Incident. Adding the field is not difficult, it is getting it passed along with all the other fields to create the Incident. Has anyone else done this and care to share what is the best way to go about doing this? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
