All of my 7.1 component testing has been successful with 1.5.0_12 - no problems were the fault of the Java version. Other new apps like RKM 7.1.01 are using 1.5.0 by default for Tomcat 5.2.0, so I expect to see more of this on the updated apps. Skip 1.5.0_11 because of the registry bug if you are on Windows servers.
