What exactly do you mean by saying that you loose visibility to the application?
Does whatever you say is happening, happen only when you open that dialog in the Mid-Tier? Does it work alright over the native client? What are the actions that are defined to fire on opening that form (On Window Open / Loaded actions)? Any actions unsupported by the Mid-Tier?
