That is exactly what the little Remedy app we wrote does.

 

Do you have Crystal Reports? A quick win maybe using Crystal Reports
Exporter from a scheduled task (it doesn't need to be run on the server).

It doesn't have to be elaborate, just compile a weekly list of the tickets

created on form  and forwarded it on e-mail to someone. I know I can send a

e-mail notification with the fields each time one is created but I was

thinking that instead of bombarding my supervisor with e-mails everyday I

rather just set up one that goes out at the end of the week.

Check the list archives there have been some threads in the past regarding

building a way to automatically send report from Remedy. You didn't mention

what kind of file type you are looking to send. We built a process with 2

forms, 3 filters and 1 escalation that will send a CSV. Let me know if this

is what you are looking to do and I can give you more details.

Exporter at http://www.rainforestnet.com/crexport-download.htm. It's open

source and can send an xls, pdf, etc.

Listers,

 

     I have created a report from a form and would like to e-mail all

 

tickets created on this form on a weekly basis. Lets say every Friday by 7

 

AM. Do I create the e-mail notification from the report or directly from the

 

form? How do I limit it to only report the items created on the form for

 

that week, lets say from Friday 07:01 (last week) to Friday 07:00(this

 

week). One week period. Hopefully this makes sense. Thanks!
