Took about 2-3 Months to get an auto discovery tool in there along with the initial build for the first one. It's been added to over time, probably total time around 6 months.
That's taking it way beyone initial scope though. The one I am developing one now is manually populated (for the moment at least) - to get it to a stage where users could enter data and relate, was around 4 weeks. Still at an early stage, but I estimate total time will be around 7-10 weeks. Then the real work start when we integrate into existing business models !
