The version of the AR Import CLI included with the Admin Tool v7.1 won't work.
You need
to use v7.0.1. Install v7.0.1 of the Admin Tool to a different directory than
your 7.1
(to get the different version of the CLI) and specify THAT directory in the bat
file.

I found this workaround while attempting to run the CLI with the same
parameters as
specified in the foundation.bat with the same results: unable to load
mappings.... Using
the GUI, it worked fine. So I just tried a different version of the CLI.

Subject: [ARSLIST] BMC Foundation Data Loader

** Has anyone successfully used the BMC Foundation Data Loader that was release
around
10/31? I have a couple of questions.

I am hoping I am missing something but it appears it will only create new
records. Can
someone confirm if that is true or not. We have about 200,000 records in our
People form
and I have a list of about 2000 users that need to have their support groups and
permissions updated. I was hoping to use this tool to meet this need. I am
able to get
the tool to create new records but cant figure out how to update exisiting
records, even
if I supply the person id.

Assuming I screwed something up and you can update records, I dont understand
what the
link is between the tabs, so on the 03 CTM-PeoplePermissionGroups tab it has 3
columns,
Permission Group, License Type and Template Name. How does it know to put that
permission
to the user JDOE. I dont understand what the identifier is.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks
Kevin Shaffer
