I commented out REMEDY.ARF.CAI plugin (libcaieventcmd.so) in ar.conf and the arplugin still crashed every 90 seconds. I went on to try each plugin one by one in ar.conf and found out the cause of the problem: ardbcQuery (libardbcQuery.so). The plugin is used to query the overview console and return data from the vendor form for Incident, Problem, Change and Asset. The BMC support sent me a patch file to replace the plugin but it couldn't be loaded during startup. In arerror.log, this is shown:
Wed Jan 30 15:31:34 2008 390695 : The plug-in does not implement ARPluginIdentify(). The plug-in will not load. (ARERR 8759) Wed Jan 30 15:31:34 2008 /opt/remedy/arsystem/remedydev/incident/bin/libardbcQuery.so While the BMC support is escalating the problem to resolution team, I also found another problem with the application dispatcher when arplugin is not dying: arsvcdsp dies with 65280 every 30 minutes. Has any one seen this before? Thanks. Eric On Tue, 29 Jan 2008 15:47:48 -0500, Axton <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >So comment out that plugin, then restart the plugin server.
