Some developers feel

'DB.Field' != 'Field'

is just as effective as

'TR.Field' != $NULL$ AND 'TR.Field' != 'DB.Field'

some developers argue that because TR can be null both when nothing is
changing, and when the field is changing from something, to null, that TR
doesn't have any merit, and as such should never be used. With
inexperienced, and some experienced developers (myself included at times) it
can be hard to ensure that your qual is covering all of the bases when using
TR values.

How about:
        "What qualification would you use to detect if the value of a field
has changed?"

Or:
        "When is it appropriate to use a TR value in a qualification"?
(Hint: NEVER)

Re: Interview questions

I always though questions pertaining to the three phases that filters
were processed in was a good question to ask.
Even if the interviewee did not know the answer - exactly - it would
get them talking about push, set,notifications and messaging.
