You can set up Case Insensitivity on oracle 10g R2 by adding the following to the ar conf file.
Db-Case-Insensitive:T Although this is documented it is not recommended due to the way indexes are utilised. Could you not use the INIT function to test loginid and if not correct display a nice form that tells them to re-login using the correct case?
