The simple answer is that passwords are managed in AD, according to expiration rules etc.
However you can further configure the AD integration to map groups in AD to permissions in Remedy. This means group access is configured purely in AD In addition, the ARDBC integration will allow you to create custom workflow that creates and updates users.
