Hi all,

We are in the process of setting up a new Remedy 7 environment and are 
experiencing a problem with excessive page faults while using Remedy Admin 
tool. 

Our environment is: 
ARS 7.1, patch 003
ITSM 7.1, patch 007
Mid-Tier 7.1, patch 001
Admin tool 7.1, patch 003
IIS 6
Apache/Tomcat 5.5.17
Windows 2003
SQL Server 2005

And we are currently running with Development Cache Mode ?on?.

Basically, we are getting page faults of 1,000,000+ occurring on 
arserver.exe process when we simply open an AL or Form.  During this 
operation, the CPU usage is essentially flat, so there doesn?t appear to 
be any lack of memory capacity (so why would it need to page fault if 
there is plenty of available memory). 

While those excessive page faults only occur during use of Remedy Admin 
tool and do not really hinder the admin work we are doing now to build and 
customize the apps, our server admins are concerned that the app is not 
behaving properly (the OS configuration on the server uses the same 
standard configuration they use on all our Windows servers, and they do 
not see any kind of paging problem on other servers).

Wondering if anyone here has seen or heard of similar problems?
