Yes, you only need to be able to log into both servers to create mappings and
for DSO to run after mappings and workflow have been created.

Subject: DSO Question

**

Hi all. Hope everyone is doing fine.

Windows/ARS 6.3/SQL Server

This weekend, we are upgrading hardware on one of our remedy server. I’m
considering applying my DSO license afterwards. I do not have my mappings set
up yet, as my firewall rule isn’t in place yet. My question is, is it okay to
go ahead and apply my DSO license before having the mappings and the firewall
rules?

And just to clarify, after applying the DSO license, all I need to do is
restart the server, correct?

Thanks,

Gary Opela, Jr.
