Just Installed ARS 7.1 P5 on 64 bit OS (Windows 2003 Std Edition) and now Trying to access AR System Administration Console application via Remedy User (7.1 p5) tool to see the configuration and add server license. Received the following Plug-in error:
ARERR [8762] GetServerInfo Failed to get initialization values. ARERR[623] Authentication Failed I found BMC KB KM-000000025855 which says 2 workarround - 1. adding parameter Server-Plugin-Alias in ar.cfg 2. updating host file with Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN). I encountered different error when applied workarround,which is :- ARERR[8203]The Server's RPC version is not supported: RPC programme is unavailable. I have tried downgrading to ARS 7.1 patch 4 but no use. Other observation. -------------- 1. I can use User Tool to open any form. There is no issue in opening forms and updating or creating entries. 2. When tried logging via mid-tier getting error ARERR[623] Authentication Failed. So can some body provide some hint/clue toward the resolution of this issue?
