Although you are using AD for authenication Remedy still validates the user
name and is case sensitive. Review the logins and determine why the first
letter was capitalized on import. You may need to?create a filter to set all
characters to lowercase on the User form.

Subject: Login ID issues

Hello Listers,

We've imported the people records from AD to People form and we are using
Cross Reference Blank Password for external authentication. Now here we are
facing a problem of case-sensitivity.
CTM:People form stores login ids as e.g. "Remedy". When we use the exact id
to log in then it works fine. But when we use it as "remedy" then it denies
the access. All the end users follow the same practice and they are unable
to create request.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Thanks & Regards,
Vinit
