Great - out of curiosity, what was the problem?

Enable SQL logging and modify a user then check the logs – you should see an
update to the User form T table followed by a select, delete and insert into
the user_cache table for the modified user. Check to make sure the T table
being updated in the one for the User form – have you perhaps copied the User
form or created a join based on it? This can sometimes cause the server to get
confused about which table to update. Also, do you get a message regarding an
update of the user’s preference record when modifying the User form? If so
that may be the problem and you can fix it by changing the message type in the
active link ARSystemUserPrefWarnMessage from WARN to NOTE.

Subject: User Cache not updating on User form changes

All,

Issue is that I have to run ARRELOAD any time any change is made to any user
record or it will not take affect. This is new issue, just noticed it in the
past 3 weeks.
This is not the case when adding new user records, only modify. We rebooted
our server for the first time in 800 days, hoping that something was just hung
up, but that did not resolve the issue.

Any Ideas?

Environment
