I had an error too and have a ticket open with BMC that appears to be a
software bug.

The exact error was:
"The installation of BMC Atrium Impact Simulator, BMC Atrium Web Services, or
BMC Atrium Web Services Registry requires that BMC Atrium CMDB 7.5.00 already
exists on the designated AR Server, or that you select BMC Atrium CMDB as part
of the current installation. To proceed with this installation, install BMC
Atrium CMDB on this AR Server or choose another AR Server with BMC Atrium CMDB
installed."

While I do not clearly recall the options I had selected during the install, I
am quite certain CMDB and its prerequisites were the only systems I had chosen
to install. I will be attempting to run that same install somewhere during this
week again..

What was the error that you got?

Joe
