Check a thread that I replied to last week regarding pulling the FQDN out of
notifications :)

Subject: The server name problem....

**

A little more description of the problem that we thought was a bad severname
- maybe on the midtier, but it's possibly

not what we thought..

The problem is that the notification is not working because the URL being
built by the application workflow is not correct.

What I need to know is how the URL below is being built by the workflow.

What Remedy generates and embeds in the notification plain text field -->
http://SD09WSDV01/arsys/servlet/ViewFormServlet?form=NTE%3aNotifier
<http://SD09WSDV01/arsys/servlet/ViewFormServlet?form=NTE%3aNotifier&server=
SD09RMDV01.devtest.bwc.state.oh.us&eid=NTS000000000655>
&server=SD09RMDV01.devtest.bwc.state.oh.us&eid=NTS000000000655

What should be --->
http://SD09WSDV01/arsys/servlet/ViewFormServlet?form=NTE%3aNotifier
<http://SD09WSDV01/arsys/servlet/ViewFormServlet?form=NTE%3aNotifier&server=
SD09RMDV01&eid=NTS000000000655> &server=SD09RMDV01&eid=NTS000000000655

The hyperlink (URL) is embedded in the plain text field of an email to the
person assigned to work on the incident. My question is how does the URL
string is being generated by the system.

Please notice that the only difference between the URL's is the red
letters " ....server=SD09RMDV01.devtest.bwc.state.oh.us&eid=NTS....".

What we need to is how do I exclude the .devtest.bwc.state.oh.us from the
URL..
